So – you have a great product that you would like to promote online. However, one of the main obstacles which anybody can be confronted with is finding a great platform that will generate the interest you need. ClickBank is one such place, and in this post, we are going to show you how to submit a digital product on ClickBank – step by step.

For you to realise the full potential of this marketing method, it can be worth your while to know what the site is about. Essentially, ClickBank is a hub where different people can join together in order to promote the product which you might want to sell, allowing them to take a commission for their efforts. In return, you get valuable cash flow that has stemmed from the excellent work that you might have been doing.

1. If you want to get the ball rolling and use this service, the first step is to go to ClickBank.com. Once you have done so, you will see a page that looks like Fig. 1.

2. The homepage will greet you, and the red sidebar towards the top of the page denotes an array of options for you to choose from. Click the ‘Sell products’ tab to proceed to the next step, as seen in Fig. 2.

3. If you are still learning more about ClickBank at this point, this can be the perfect opportunity to review all of the advantages which are seen on this page. Once you are fully assured that this is an option you want to take, click the green ‘Sign Up’ button, as seen in Fig. 3.

4. Next – you will be asked to fill in a detailed form about who you are, where you live, and the details which are pertaining to your account. An example of how this form should be filled can be found in Fig. 4, where our good friend Joe Bloggs has demonstrated how a sample registration form should look when filled. Fig. 5 demonstrates how you need to accept the terms and conditions before ticking the ‘I have agreed to the terms and conditions’ box and clicking ‘Submit’.

5. Before you have a break, do bear in mind that you will have to verify your registration via email. You will see a screen which tells you to check your email and obtain an eight-digit code. You will also be provided with a hyperlink within this email message for you to use when typing the code in.

6. Once you have done both of these things, you will now be a fully-fledged member of ClickBank. You need to login to continue, so go to the grey area at the very top of the Internet window and click ‘Log In’. You will then be prompted to punch in your details, as done so in Fig. 6.

7. Now you are a member, it is time to prepare your account for submitting a product. Before you can do this, you need a shipping profile which clearly denotes where you can sell your product and the costs which are associated with doing so. In our example, we are going to be selling an eBook, and so once we calculated how much it would cost to send the eBook to a client of ours in America, we can add this to our shipping profile. You can do how many of these are required, based on whether or not you offer an international service. It will look like Fig. 7.

8. Next, you need to go to ‘My Products’, where you can fill in details about the item which you plan to submit. In Fig. 8, you can see information about our sample product filled out in detail. At this stage, you need to fill out the various fields associated with your item before clicking the green ‘Save Changes’ button.

9. Once you have done all of this, it can be important for you to bear in mind that you will need a page that pitches your product and explains what it is all about. Also, you will need a place which directs those who have purchased an item from you after they have paid. Both of these websites need to be external to ClickBank. Making sure that payments are also conducted securely is important. If you click back onto ‘My Products’, you will see that the status of your item is now ‘Approval Request Required’. Clicking on this will allow you to select the categories which can get you one step closer to completing submission.

10. Now, you need to choose relevant categories to your item. If you are selling an eBook, you will be asked to choose a genre that your title can fit into for affiliates to market.

11. Once you have clicked ‘Save Changes’, you will be lead to a brand-new page where you fill in more details about your product. At the top of the page, there is also a confirmation of all of the details provided so far. When filled out, the page will look like Fig. 9. Make sure that you have all of the necessary marketing information that conforms to the terms and conditions you accepted from ClickBank previously. When you are done, click the green ‘Submit Product Approval Request’ button.

12. After this, congratulations are in order! You have submitted your first digital product on ClickBank. You will see a message which confirms the request has been sent, and you should expect to wait as long as a week to get a response on whether your product will be accepted. Good luck!

I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of resell rights products floating around the internet. Problem is, not many know how to utilize them to their full potential other than the obvious ’sell them’. Let me give you a basic resell rights strategy you can apply in any niche that will allow you to build your list and profit through back end promotions.

Here’s a basic strategy you should apply in order to build your list;

Firstly, we set up our ready-made sales page. We then drive traffic to it, using pay-per-click for example. When someone buys and makes a payment, you immediately funnel them into your autoresponder and then redirect them to the download page.

Using this funnel you’re building your customer base automatically and it provides you with instant traffic for anything else you have in future.

On the download page you give them what they paid for and then you complement their product with an un-advertised bonus. This bonus could be a your own product or better still, it could be your affiliate link to a free product with a high-converting one-time offer.

Depending on what you’ve already sold to your customer and the one-time offer itself, they should respond highly to the one-time offer because they are alreadying in a buying mood.

A couple of sites that I’ve already set up with a freebie and one-time offer are http://www.teach-me-how.com and http://www.forcedsubscriptionprofits.com which you may already aware of.

Let’s take this theme a little further and now give master resell rights to the original product you were selling.

Let’s say Elvis, the inspector and mad teacher bought your product and then decided to resell the product for themselves. Great!

You give them the sales page, the product and the download page. Assuming they keep everything intact (which should be stated in your license agreement) they will be promoting your affiliate link for you. Your reseller’s win, you win and so does the customer for recieving more than they bought.

By no means am I a programmer, but I do pick things up along the way and keep the useful knowledge here and there.. here’s a way to pass on name and email variables with PHP so that you can start displaying your visitor’s name and other information on the page so it seems personal, in turn increasing your conversions!

1. Rename your old HTML file to PHP – Don’t be scared of PHP, it’s just HTML that allows you to add server code.

2. Add the follow lines to the very top of your page in the code view;

3. Go to the section where you want to add your visitor’s name on your page and in the code view add this;

4. Save and upload your page to your site and test it. Here’s one a did earlier..

http://aarondankersblog.com/test/?name=Fred%20Flinstone&from=fred@flinstone.com

Replace Fred Flinstone with any name and you’ll see that the page dynamically updates itself. Tip: The %20 is there to represent a space.

5. You’re probably thinking how you get your visitor’s name displayed on the page? Well, assuming you’ve already got an email list, you’ll be familiar with using personlized tags such as {!firstname} and [[firstname]] depending on the program your using.

Knowing this you can now replace the name with your personalization tag so it would look like this if you’re using Aweber;

http://aarondankersblog.com/test/?name={!firstname}

Now that you know this, you can start applying it to all your sales pages. Every time your autoresponder sends your visitor to your sales page, you can do so whilst passing on their information to the site, which will look very impressive for the reader.

Note though, has a much more powerful effect in non-internet marketing niches, such as lose weight, build muscle, gardening, parenting, home security, traveling etc.. because they won’t be as aware to the tricks that we marketers get up to

What else can you do with this trick?

Well just of the top of my head..

- Display Name and Email addresses in tell-a-friend forms to make it easy for your visitor to refer friends to their website!
- Generate personalized Email promos and affiliate links for your affiliates!

and much more..

Hope you like this little trick!

When you’re first starting out when it comes to list building, it may be a little daunting. How do you know what works well? Does the formatting of the page matter? How long does the page have to be? What should I be asking for? And how do I make money in the process? Well worry no more because I’m about to answer these questions for you!

Here are my 9 tips to building a successful list..

1. Give give give! – Give quality products, eBooks and information away without charge – give them what they’re looking for. Poorly packaged information or just plain rubbish will be deleted from their computer and they will unsubscribe straight away!

2. Don’t ask for much! – All you need is their Name and Email address. Asking for more will put them off!

3. Create a ’sales page style’ landing page. Just like a mini sales page nothing else should be distracting your visitor. That means no AdSense ads, no hyperlinks, or any other distractions that you can think of. I know it’s a bit of a contradiction with this blog but that’s a different matter. The focus should be entirely on the opt-in!

4. List everything that your visitor is getting before they subscribe and make it look yummy! Your visitor is bombarded with other offers and sales pitches every day. Be original! Make it easy for them to see what they’re getting and how they can benefit. Clarity goes a long way!

5. Remind them to confirm their subscription! – Create your own page that clearly asks them to go to their inbox and check for your confirm Email.

6. Dedicate a domain name with your landing page solely to build your list. That way, when you need to leave a back link anywhere you can promote your list-building website.

7. Don’t abuse them once they’ve signed up! If you’ve got a set of pre-made Emails, leave a 3-7 day seperation between each message so that it seems more natural.

8. Every Email doesn’t have to be a promotion! You’re just asking for an unsubscribe! If you’ve got some valuable information to share that they could benefit from, share it – don’t sell it!

and finally, my favorite..

9. (Optional) Slip in a special offer just before they expect to receive their goods. The offer works best when it acts as ‘upgrade’ to what they are already getting. For example, if they sign up for an eBook, your offer could be the reseller’s material..the sales page, download page, header, footer, eBook cover etc.You can charge a small amount and that would already build trust if the transaction was successful and it would act as a little income earner for you with every new subscriber!

Hope this has helped you re-think your strategy for building a list!

Photoshop and DreamWeaver are the two programs I absolutely swear by and use to create 100s of profitable mini-sites. However both these tools are absolutely useless to you unless you know how to use it effectively. So what’s first on the to do list?

..Templates!

You see if I were to create a website, lets say a mini-sales webpage, I would still need a page for the download page, the squeeze page, the contact page, the terms of use page, the affiliate’s page and so on..

Doing it the old fashion way I would create one page until I called it ‘finished’ then I would copy and paste that HTML to create all the other pages.. BIG mistake!

What if I wanted to change the layout, change the size of the tables, add an additional link at the footer, or add the disclaimer? Would you go through each page manually and add all this one page after another? I hope not!

This is why I *ALWAYS* use templates whenever I create ANY website.

Here are some examples of my AdSense sites that use templates;

http://www.sourceofknowledge.org

http://www.yourcoffeecorner.com – girlfriend’s website
http://www.pocopiano.com

You noticed anything significant about these sites? They are all consistant. I don’t edit each page seperately if I wanted to add a new menu link – that would be mad especially if I’m creating a 100-page website! I edit one template file and all the pages linked to the template automatically update.

If I wanted to remove a block of Google Ads on one of my pages I simply use the template feature to disable it. That way if I’m creating a sign-up page, I can disable the Google Ad and focus on the opt-in.

If I forgot to add a statcounter to my web pages I simply go into the HTML code of the template and add it there. ALL the pages attached to the template will update!

This is what I call working smart

Just think, when you know how to use DreamWeaver templates for your website you can put all those private label articles to good use and build 100s of pages for your niche AdSense site!

I was planning to write up a full step-by-step tutorial on how to use DreamWeaver templates but there really was too much to write up and so little time to do it in which is why I’m going to recommend a series of video tutorials which you can watch and learn from instead for about $50!

1. Go to Mark Kostner’s DreamWeaver tutorials
2. Click on the Tutorials button at the top of the page
3. And scroll down to section 4.2 – this is the important part that you need to learn if you’re going to be creating websites fast and efficiently.

If you want to start creating your own AdSense sites, minisites, portal sites, article site, forum sites then these are definitely the tutorials you need to be learning from. You’ll be kicking yourself later as to why you didn’t this simple feature before! If you’re new to web design and DreamWeaver don’t worry – I’ve watch them all thoroughly and can personally vouch for them!

So if you’ve got some time to yourself to spare, use it wisely and start creating those websites which you were too ‘afraid’ to do or ‘put off’ till later!

Before you can have a successful home based business, you must first possess 3 “intangibles.” These are things that must come from WITHIN you.

Intangible 1 – First,you must have a strong WHY.

Why MUST you have a successful home business and earn money at home? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN’T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?

For me, I couldn’t stand working 12+ hours a day anymore. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone’s time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt an incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.

Intangible 2 – You must BELIEVE that it is possible.

If you don’t believe that it’s POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make your living from home, you won’t. It’s that simple. For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money working from home. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.

There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money working from home. Just get online and do some research and you’ll find countless testimonials and stories of REAL PEOPLE making real money on the Internet. Once you get the ball rolling, it’s all downhill from there!

Intangible 3 – You must be willing to TAKE ACTION!

Ready, FIRE, then aim… This is the operating philosophy you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business. That’s backwards for most people who like to aim before they fire. The fact is that home based business success is a moving target… The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can’t learn from the outside… You have to be *IN THE RING* to truly understand and profit from it. In fact, this is a business where you can truly be earning WHILE you’re still learning…

The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start a home based business. You simply have to start one. It’s like having children… You’re never really ready, but when it happens you adapt and grow and therefore you succeed. This is what I call: “Making the Leap”!

You simply need get IN THE GAME… Each moment that you stay “out there,” you’re wasting valuable time that you could be learning and skills necessary to build a successful home based business. In fact, if you’re not in the game yet, you’re ALREADY behind the times… Make the leap to starting and building a successful home business TODAY!

I’m sure you’ve got some eBooks lying around on your hard drive that you’ve put aside or never applied? Re-read them, try and apply – you’ll always learn more the second time round you read it!

Regards,
Aaron

I often ask myself out of everything there is available to do online, what is the one skill that every internet marketer should have?

Is it…

A) Being able to write a good eBook?
B) Being able to create a virtual cover for their product?
C) Being able to write good sales copy?
D) Being able to produce video tutorials?
E) Being able to add in one-time offers and upsell?
F) Being able to build a mailing list, fast and automatically?
G) Be willing to invest in PLR/MRR/RR and flip for profit?
H) Be willing to outsource mundane tasks to others?
I) Being able to spend money on advertising to realize a profit?
J) Being able to set up an affiliate program?

Answer: All of the above

If you have the ability to create your own unique product from stratch and create a sales page that entices your reader to take action and buy then my friend, you are at the top of the food chain!

Let me explain..

There are so many methods of making money on the internet i.e. becoming an affiliate, using space on your site for advertising (AdSense), pay-per click advertising (AdWords), Email marketing and so on but if you notice – every single transaction ends up with the sale of a product (or service).

If you’re an affiliate, you’re selling somebody else’s product.
If you’re an AdSense publisher you’re helping to sell somebody else’s product.
If you’re an AdWords advertiser you’re most likely an affiliate to sell somebody else’s product.

You see my point?

If you can create your own unique and individual product highly targeted at your niche and submit to an affiliate network, you are at the top of the food chain and other marketers will NATURALLY attract to it. There are more people working as affilites promoting other people’s products than there are product creators. The main reason is because most people simply can’t create a product even if they wanted to – and find it easier to promote someone else’s. Would you rather have 25% commission from 100 sales from affiliates or 75% commission from 1 sale as an affiliate?

If you’re an affiliate I don’t mean to insult you – I’m an affiliate of several programs myself.. but my point is, being able to create your own product is one skill that every internet marketer should have and continue to develop. Once you’ve mastered this skill all you need is just ONE outstanding product and your affiliates will do the rest! Yes really! But what do I need to do in order to create successful products that other affiliates will promote?

That I will leave for another post so stay tuned!
